College Place CDC is a part of the Washington State Migrant Council, which is a nonprofit corporation that works to improve the quality of life for migrants, farmworkers and rural poor individuals. The Washington State Migrant Council serves more than 10 counties in Washington. Its Early Head Start Program serves pregnant women and low-income families with infants. The organization provides a child and adult care food program through the Department of Agriculture and offers comprehensive nutritional services to children. The Washington State Migrant Council s vocational rehabilitation program is designed to access and deliver resources leading to self-sufficiency. It partners with the National Head Start Association, Migrant Head Start and the National Council of La Raza. College Place CDC maintains a location in Walla Walla, Wash.
