Provided by YP.comThis place is great!! The rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly. The beds were very comfortable, sheets were crisp. I loved the kitchenette, it was clean and perfect lots of cabinets and a full size refrigerator! Our stay was quiet and peaceful. If you are in the area this is the place to stay!!

Provided by YP.comI work in a motel so I was expecting the worst but the place was really cute and kinda old fashioned. Had friendly service and my boyfriend and I were so glad to be able to relax in such a comfortable enviroment. Plan to stay again asap!!! Its small so call ahead and reserve a room!!! U won't regret it!!

Provided by YP.comHighly recommended - actually mini suites with a kitchen stocked with refrigerator and a microwave. Super clean, freshly painted - could have eaten off the bathroom floor! Beautiful flat screen tv, clean crisp linens on the bed. The customer service was great too! Convenient to Route 40, several restaurants and stores, but still quiet. Will definitely go back to this inn.

Provided by YP.comI have never had a problem with reservations at the Duplin Inn. The current management is friendly and nice and goes out of their way to help. Fresh sheets, clean room, flat screen TV and my own fridge and micro. It is the traveling man's ideal location for an inexpensive night on the road. As a return customer, they always look out for me and I feel safe there. Thumbs up for the Duplin Inn and management.

Booked a room for one night over TWO WEEKS in advance and paid with a credit card. Got there on the day of my 'reservation' and was told someone didn't want to leave so my reservation was cancelled. I was told they called and were very sorry.
Don't buy this nonsense! They 'take' reservations. They just don't 'hold' them. Stay in a REAL hotel not this two-bit joint!
This incident resulted from an unusual situation in which one of our guests had a medical emergency, and the management of The Duplin Inn chose to not relocate her. Unfortunately, no one else checked out that day and the situation described above occurred. We are a small organization and do not have extensive written policies; our managers frequently have to use their own judgment. However, because of the issue described above, we have created an new policy to deal with unusual situations such as these. We promise to always hold our customers' reservations except when an act of god does not permit it. If the failure to hold a reservation is our fault, we will make every effort to remedy the situation by paying for accommodations at another establishment. The Duplin Inn has contacted the customer who posted above to apologize to him, and we have made efforts to remedy the situation by offering him a free night at The Duplin Inn or another one of our establishments.
