Profitec s services include service bureau processing, in-house customer service, database administration, network provisioning, telemarketing, credit and collections, inbound sales and order entry, call accounting, multi-analysis, toll fraud protection and corporate-wide traffic engineering analysis. Former Bell Telephone executive Dick Minervino founded Profitec in the 1960. The company has headquarters in Wallingford, Conn. Its corporate partners include Microsoft, CCMI, Telcordia Technologies, Adobe and Sagent.
