I bid and won an item run by Ashman. When I arrived to pick up my items, there seemed to be no one there to receive payment. There was a guy there who checked your bid sheet, but he was not wearing an Ashman uniform or name tag. Furthermore, he didn't have a cash box or invoice pad with Ashman's logo and information. I was there 2 hours loading my mill. Not once did the guy there indicate that I was to pay him. I had the cash with me to pay him, but I was not just going to leave cash with just anyone. I took my items home and immediately initiated a wire transfer to pay for my items in full. My bank removed my funds from my account and indicated that the transfer would be made. I emailed Ashman immediately to let them know that the transfer was made. I received a call the next day from someone from Ashman. He behaved in an unprofessional manner threatening to come to my home to resolve the situation if I didn't pay. I told him what happened, I gave him the confirmation number for the transfer and I thought that was it. 30 minutes later I got another person from Ashman calling and demanding payment. I explained again and was told I needed to go to my bank and get payment to them immediately. I told her I would not be doing that and that payment had all ready been made as far as I was concerned. I hung up. 2 hours later, I received notice from Bidspotter that I had been blocked by Ashman and would no longer be able to bid on Ashman auctions. Thoroughly unprofessional. I would not have them auction my goods nor will I ever do business with them again.
