This was the worst customer service and experience i have ever had. Dr. Chris Matsunaga is rude and disrespectful and possibly racist. I initially went in because i had a cracked tooth, after looking at the tooth this dentist decided he wouldnt be able to take care of it and would need to give me a referral. However, instead of giving me a referral for this tooth to be pulled, he made referrals for other things and decided he would deal with that tooth last. I had to go to an oral surgeon who told me that tooth needed to be pulled immediately because it was infected. However, Dr. Matsunaga never told me the tooth was infected and decided that it wasn't urgent enough to make a referral until he decided. I went back to get a filling done by this dentist and in the middle of the filling his assistant being rough knocked out a piece of a tooth that had just got a root canal and they didn't even apologize, instead this dentist blamed me that they knocked out a tooth they weren't even working on. Then i called this dentist back to get a break down of what was billed to my insurance and the receptionist was very rude and accused me of not wanting to pay my bill and then hung up in my face. I called back and this time spoke to Dr. matsunaga who was also very rude and irate about me wanting a breakdown of the bill. I simply told this dentist i would like an apology for the poor customer service to which he responded that no apology was owed to me, just like no apology was owed to me when they knocked my tooth out of my mouth. I would never recommend this dentist. Not to mention the filing he did on my tooth left residue between three of my teeth, because he did a sloppy job. He obviously thinks he can go around doing anything to anyone. I am reporting this dentist to the board. I would rate this dentist -5 stars.
