Founded in 1978 by a small group of parents representing a handful of Christian churches in the Walnut Creek area, Contra Costa Christian Schools has grown to become one of the premier Christian schools in Northern California. Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the school is for students of preschool through high school. In addition to the school's academic curriculum, students are also offered the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including varsity and junior varsity sports, music, drama, academic competitions, spiritual and service retreats, intersession classes, and worship teams. Contra Costa Christian Schools is located in Walnut Creek, Calif.

My daughter started with full day Kindergarten in 2000 and is currently a Freshman in High School. It's an excellent school in many ways and has been a blessing to be a part of. She has grown academically, spiritually and personally with exceptional mentors and peers. She has been able to participate in after school sports, drama and cheerleading. The school works with parents to create a quality education experience!

Great school and environment

This is a great environment for students of all ages.

I wish I had found this school years ago, but no matter, because we are there now. We, as is the whole family is involved in the school. It is a great environment with small class sizes and lots of individual attention. Academics are top-notch. My daughter is prepared for UC or any other college she chooses.

Since the school is small there is plenty of room for you on the sports teams. Basketball, soccer (great natural grass soccer field at the school), volleyball, swimming (pool a block away) and cheer.
