Contra Costa JCC is a nonprofit, social service agency, affiliated with the Jewish Federation of Greater East Bay. It offers early childhood services through year-round half- and full-day programs for children up to 3-years-old. Contra Costa JCC offers various activities that include art, music, weekly Shabbat, Jewish holiday celebrations, physical education, swimming, and enrichment classes. It also offers summer camps and programs, including parpar for children of ages 2- to 5-years, and shelanu, a traditional day camp environment for children in grades one through 10. The agency also offers various health, and recreation programs for adults and children, including tai chi, karate, Jewish basketball spring league, table tennis, and badminton. Contra Costa JCC is located in Walnut Creek, Calif.
