Stay away for auto repairs. Cost me an additional $300.00 when they failed a simple job.



Had my alternator replaced on a caddy 1994 sts. First of all, the price they charged was higher than others but they are close to my house and were friend recommended so I gave them the job.



Well, upon receiving my car back I got a dash message that my refrigerant was "very low- AC compressor turned off". Great. So I call the shop and Tom tells me not to worry as it's december and when I need the AC they will refill it for $100.



This was terrible advice as the freon also contains the lubricant that keeps the AC compressor pulley (which runs regardless of whether the compressor is on or off) lubricated.



Fast forward to this past weekend and my car is screeching. The bearings on the pully had ground down. Now I have to have AC pulled, repaired, remounted and recharged. the mechanic told me they Walpole Sunoco hadn't even installed the alternator properly, leaving a bolt hanging out. He also informed me that that the reason I had lost my freon to begin with was because Sunoco had drained it to replace the alternator yet never re-filled it.



Obviously, this is an incompetent and over-priced shop. Stay far away unless you feel like paying for the repairs twice.
