Provided by YP.comWe were on vacation and in the area from Phoenix, AZ. We decided to pop into Walterboro SC for a little treasure hunting. Glad we did and found this place. The owner was a super nice guy and even though we were dressed in shorts and flip flops you could tell it did not matter. We stopped in a few other place along the antiques district and were met with snobby attitudes i think cause the way we were dressed. On vacation and comfortable. Anyway we wound up having a great conversation with the owner , he told us of some other things to do around town . He has by far the best selection and variety of quality pieces in town from what we could tell. We took home a few early century Asian pieces one in particular was a vase that was 5 feet tall Satsuma that will be an amazing addition to our collection. Thanks to Tillman's we had a great time in an otherwise kinda stuffy little town.

Provided by YP.comWonderful antiques/gallery. Owner very knowledgeable and helpful. We drove over from Charleston and I found a beautiful watercolor from Paris France that was mid-century. Would have expected to pay much more than was charged for the piece. Also found a few rare books of notable importance. From what we could tell everything is of top quality and authenticity. All at prices really anyone could afford depending on your budget of course. Some things I wish I purchased was two wonderful cherub candelabras from late 1800's France, a great mid-century lamp . My husband found a couple of antique fishing lures from Heddon at a great price.

Provided by YP.comAN amazing place to find fine art or antiques from around the world. Very helpful and friendly staff. We made a couple of purchases. One was a painting from Austria original watercolor by well know artist. Was at a great price. Was valued at 2K plus. Bought it for 1500.00 . Second was a very cool mid century lamp. Again a very good buy at about 75% of a like item on 1stdibs. If you are looking for unique home furnishings or art of estate quality without having to go to a larger market then this place it it by far. The owner was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about each and every item and question we had about the items before we purchased.

Provided by YP.comDon't waste your time here. The overdressed rude sales lady thinks she knows it all. Gallery 225 looks like a cheap discount store. I think you could find the same merchandise at Home Goods or TJMaxx.
