We are so pleased to have a local bakery with such fine cakes, pastries, cookies, etc. The feel of an old fashioned bakery as you enter and the friendly staff make you want to sample a little of everthing! The coffeecake and the chocolate raspberry are both a must have and the chocolate dipped pretzels and marshmallows are great for the kids! I have taken the mini cakes as gifts and they have been loved by all. Everything is always fresh and you will never be bored as new items are always being added to this favorite shop. I just stumbled on this review and had to respond. Slap-Happy will put a smile on your face. My wife and I are addicted. I don't need to go to the city for cupcakes anymore but Slap-Happy is more than just cupcakes. Even the coffee and hot chocolate are great. I can't recommend this new, clean yet old-fashioned bakery any more...you must see and taste for yourself!

I am SO excited about Slap-Happy! I went for the first time on Christmas Eve and bought a variety of different pastries, cupcakes and pies. Everything is AMAZING!! Slap-Happy is better than any other bakery in the New York Area - manhattan included! I think it's privately owned and it's clean, new with a great atmosphere. The pink boxes are awesome, too! Once you try Slap-Happy, you'll never go to another bakery again.
