Founded in 1950, the Wantagh Jewish Center is a conservative congregation offering opportunities to Jews for spirituality and tradition. Located in Wantagh, N.Y., it is a part of the Farmingdale Wantagh Jewish Center since 2007, which is a consolidation of three congregations, including the Wantagh Jewish Center, the Farmingdale Jewish Center and the Israel Community Center. The Farmingdale Wantagh Jewish Center maintains a full-service congregation with a nursery school, kindergarten, primary school, religious school, intensive adult education and more. Besides daily morning and evening services, it offers a men s club, couple s club, sisterhood, senior citizens group and youth groups. Affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, the Farmingdale Wantagh Jewish Center organizes a variety of religious, cultural and social programs for Jews throughout the year.
