Sewage backed up in my bathtub every several months - hallways dirty - nothing is ever fixed just patched up - the property is sold every two years - been here 7 years and there has 3 management companies - steer clear - can't wait to move

Chelsea ridge is getting worse by the day. The grounds beyond the entrance are a mess. What are we paying maintenance fees for? Dog park is disgusting. Apartments buildings, hallway rugs, walls, entrance are never ever vacuumed or shampooed. You can find beer bottles etc. in laundry rooms. Smelling of smoke & such. The children / teens that live here are complete animals. I've complained to office over a dozen times regarding school bus stop right outside our building of children running & screaming up & down the hallways at 8:30 am leaving chip bags soda cans crumbs etc on the stairwells. Nothing is ever done! I can go on & on. Since I moved here 3 years ago this place just keeps getting harder & harder to live, yet they continue to raise the rent annually! Looking for a new residence when lease is up! Doesn't even deserve one star!

How gross that you have to even give something one star when it doesn't deserve it. I agree 100% with what the previous person said in their review (Naureen A.). All of the same things happened to us when we needed to move out. They suck every dollar they can from you, don't offer solutions to problems (neighbor noise, BBQs on porches, decorations & plants on fire escapes, smelly carpeting, bees in your home, stink bugs, filthy hallways & stairwells, lazy cleaning staff that comes by the apartments to take all the coupons that the Post Man brings but doesn't clean...) & just plain 'ho-hum' through their jobs.



After Solomon took over the maintenance got minimally better, but sometimes you'll call their phone line after hours & no one will answer as they're supposed to & there is no voice mail. A lot of 'we're sorry you had a bad experience here' but not a lot in writing when it comes to getting your security deposit back. READ YOUR LEASE CAREFULLY BUT DO NOT EXPECT THE RULES TO APPLY THE SAME TO EACH LEASER. If you have a business on the property, you will get special treatment.



Unbelievably low standards for the people they allow to live there. Would you like your children to live next door to a man who has a domestic abuse conviction? Because that will absolutely happen. Be prepared for rent to be raised EVERY YEAR (happened each of the 3 years we lived there) $50-75 each time. Definitely don't forget that carpet cleaning receipt, which they have you provide even if they intend to replace the crappy, dirty, Berber carpeting - so you waste $100+ of your own $ in addition to the potential loss of your security deposit.



I cannot urge enough people to STOP leasing with Solomon & ESPECIALLY at Chelsea Ridge. Their practices are low-brow at best & although most of their office staff is polite, they sure need to work on following up their verbal conversations in writing. Excuse me for my lack of surprise in losing all of our security deposit & owing them $ on top of it. Figures. DON'T LEASE HERE. EVER. Unless, of course, you enjoy State Troopers & full on Swat Team presence in the complex handling one of your neighbors.

I am writing this for anyone who might want to rent here. Every building in the center unit has a laundry room a small storage rooms for the tenants. In one of the storage rooms that used to belong to a tenant there is a nice pile of human feces & a old vacuum cleaner. I donor use the laundry there much but I know the last time I did it must have been fresh because it stunk to high heaven.!! I just went down there today to use the laundry & there was still a faint odor. I loomed in the bin where the feces was & behold there it was still there & decaying on it's own!!first off it is really disturbing that nobody called about it if that's the case but I cannot see that happening! I know the maintenance guys go down there & for them not to dispose of it is even more disturbing!! I also know for a fact that the maintenance crew does the bare minimum about everything & quite a few units have major bee problems & the exterminator that they contract is useless.!! I have a huge nest in TH wLl & so far the exterminator has been back twice & they are still there. Last week in one single day I personally killed over 50 bees in Yhe apartment!! We pay $1100 a month for a small 1 bedroom so the rent is not cheap.!! You would think that for that price you would get much better service. We are for sure moving out as soon as the lease is up if not before when we complain about the bee issue that is still not resolved. They. Are for sure not holding up their end of the leSe by making it inhabitable..!! Stay away from this place if you know what is good for you..!!
