Provided by YP.comThis has been a great company for our family to work with. Over the years, we have purchased several cars here. The owner, Fran Pomerico, is a community-minded man who is not trying to rip you off.

"refused to give back deposit"
Sam, the manager was very rude to my boyfriend and I. We were never told that our deposit was not refundable and when my boyfriend signed the invoice there were no figures on it,not even the vehicle id#. When I went back to get our deposit back, Sam, flatly refused and presented me with an invoice that had the words non refundable deposit written on it. I swear the document my boyfriend signed when we were there earlier in the week was blank! When I told Sam, I would call corporate, he told me he does not work for Nissan! Also, told me to take them to small claims court and that he didn't care. Then as I was leaving, he and other sales people that were around proceeded to laugh at me and the situation like it was a big joke! We were never told that our deposit was non refundable, they forged the paperwork, they never gave us any paperwork when we left the first day we came in, and they charged us an extra $300 for delivery! Every other dealer that we went to said this whole situation is absurd and that this is the worst case of customer service that they have ever heard! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH POUGHKEEPSIE NISSAN! YOU WILL GET BURNED AND BE TREATED LIKE YOU ARE IRRELEVANT!!

Provided by YP.comYou have to goto this dealership i just bought a maxima about three months ago. My sales person Nick P was really helpful but the best part about the whole thing is even tho i already bought the car he still calls to check up on me and make sure that everything is ok with car. If i have any service issues i know i can count on him to help. Thats a good feeling to have i feel like i have a in at the dealership

Provided by YP.comI was going to go to the city but decided to give them a try so I wouldnt have to endure the drive, im glad i did. I wasnt pushed out the door or nagged like what im used to. A nice gentleman by the name of Caleb greeted me and showed me to where all the Rogues were. He knew every single piece of info I asked him on the car and finally when I said you know what I like it but im not gonna pay an arm and leg for it, he lauged and told me he didnt expect me to. I told him I wasnt about to lied to or fall for a once in a lifetime deal he was claiming to have for me. What a surprise when he offered me the car for what I researched it on and that it even included a lifetime warranty. Honestly after asking him every question under the sun and then what the catch was, I felt more like the salesman. I was in and out of there an hour and 45 minutes later with a brand new loaded up Nissan Rogue and best of all I didnt have to dread the long drive back down the taconic parkway. All and all great experience. I'll be servicing my car there in a couple months so I hope the service department does as good of a job as sales.

Provided by YP.comA few Sundays ago, I stopped in with a friend who was looking for a new Nissan and was greeted by a really sweet lady at the reception desk who was the only one who achknowledge us...then we were directed to a gentleman named Nick who's breath reeked of Alcohol while he was speaking with us..which made us very uncomfortable there. He was noticiably drunk, you could see it in his eyes...Then he was pressuring my friend to put a deposit down otherwise the deal would be gone tommorow...blah blah blah...Then went and spoke with his manager who was EVEN more unprofessional then the drunken buddy of his..The manager, I think his name was Chris Hager (if i'm not mistaken) didn't even seem to care one bit that his employee was three sheet to the wind as long as he bulls*tted us on buying a car. VERY Unprofessional place...other than the friendly receptionist. who appeared to be the only one that had a clue there.....will never go here or refer anyone to this dealership ever. The last place you wanna go for a new car is Poughkeepsie Nissan.
