Oscar was treated for an ulcerated cornea at our vet last Friday and Saturday. At 11:00 p.m. Saturday night his eye was much worse. We went to VCA and Dr Little set up a more aggressive treatment plan. Sunday morning we returned and Dr Merlino performed an extensive exam and explained everything. Dr Little and Dr. Merlino are phenomenal. The receptionists were professional and caring also. Oscar is healing beautifully and might not need surgery afterall. Thank you with all my heart.

Their website talks about enhancing and strengthening care provided by your pet's regular vet. When we tried to coordinate care between vschv and our regular vet we were amazed by the hostility from the doctors at the specialty center. It seems they only want to coordinate if you have all tests, procedures, and prescriptions done at vschv. Even after spending thousands of dollars with vschv they did not want to work with our regular vet unless money went to them. The doctors were rude to our vet while trying to coordinate care. It became apparent that vschv cares more about the payment than the patient. I will not return to vschv because of this.

Competent, Caring and Compassionate... had an emergency with a new puppy. Staff was very friendly and kind. The doctor took the time to explain everything to me and call me every step of the way... even though there were other emergencies at the time...she also explained options to me to keep the bill within a reasonable range for us. Very grateful!!!!
