This company is using the name of a reputable automotive company that closed due to a family illness and death. They are using Patriot Automotive and Transmission from 89 Green Street phone number as well. It looks as if somehow Rick Salter, a known convicted felon, also managed to gain access to the YP page once managed by Patriot Automotive, changed to his business address and steal the reviews that were attached to that company.

Common sense, Salter's Patriot opened in 2016. The REAL Patriot Automotive and Transmission opened in June of 2011.. Reviews dating back to 2012 obviously could not belong to his current shop.

would be nice to give a great review on this company but, I can't do that. Are they fast? Yes. Do they do great work? Yes. What I have a problem with is that the owner tries to solicit pain pills from the customers and upcharges their work. I over paid about $700 on a job that the parts only ran about $250 at the most and labor $689 but paid well over $1800.00

They were fast and friendly I. Would. Recommend anyone to this company ,they honest and saved me hundreds

Never take you car here!! Mine had a knocking that I took here to be fixed, told me the bearings needed replacing at a cost of 350. I had the work done and had a couple of more calls about warn out parts that needed to be replaced now, since they would be going out a some time in the near future. I agreed to have the work done for a new total of 1200. they stated they repairs would be as good as a rebuild engine, and would give me a 6,000 mile 6 month warranty. I drove off the lot with it sounding great. after 5 days and 100 miles the knocking returned and I took it back, they told me that the warranty was invalid and I would have to pay for further repairs. This place is very dishonest and a major ripoff.
