I arrive at BoRics in Hoover ...

I arrive at BoRics in Hoover 11 straight from work at about 6:30. I'd been there once before and a very nice, informative woman cut my hair for me plus I used to go to the Ferndale location when I lived out west. I wait for what seemed like two hours (but an hour and 10 mins.) which is fine because there were only three working and I was a walk-in.However, first they take a man who'd signed in after I had. About five minutes later they tell me it's too late for a coloring , that I'd have had to be here at 6pm. I say it'd have been nice if somebody said as much 45 minutes or even a half hour aho. She offers to book an appointment for tomorrow; obviously I say no and walk out quietly.

Keep in mind, they'd been to the desk a few times and looked at the sheet at least once despite being busy. That in mind, I returned to speak to the manager. She is the manager, she says, in a very smug manner. I asked why she left me sitting there instead of verifying the nature of my appointment and she answers that, well, they were busy, plus they have a policy about how late they do colorings. Gee, I must have missed that in the BoRics orientation one is required to take before going so I say well, people came up to the desk a few times to answer the phone and it isn't my fault nobody bothered to pay attention to what I signed for. I'm not going to lie, I did cuss - not at her, plus I spoke calmly. She admits zero responsibility (this woman had to be my age, maybe slightly older, and I'm 28). I laugh before noting how absurd this was and then told her to get a new job as I left.
