Got a halfway good deal but the slowest service I have ever gotten. Still waiting over 2 hrs for a remote starter. And forget about customer survice. With Brian!

AWFUL SERVICE!!! $1000.00 worth of equipment and wait over 2 hours for them to fix what wasn't working!! Auto start shouldn't make low tire sensor light come on! And someone PLEASE tell me why my check antenna light comes on!!! I may be a woman....but I KNOW this isn't normal and I WILL be concerned about it no matter WHAT the sales person says!!! I am SOOOO sorry I had work done in this place!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!STAY AWSY FROM HERE!!!

Remote start and alarm installation.

Nothing like sitting in a filthy waiting area with a bathroom that hasn't been cleaned in years! When the installation was complete I am only shown the basic features and then told "Don't worry about the other buttons. You don't need to use them. WTH Is it because I am a middle aged woman? I paid a lot of money for a nice system and should have been shown all the features. Not what you assumed I only neded to know.

Amazing products and service

I went to Mickey shorr to get a system hooked up, and it turned out phenomenal! The price was very cheap compared to other stores, and the installation was done 100% correct. The salesmen were great and it was a very positive experience. I will be coming back for anything else I need for my Taurus.

WORST SERVICE EVER

Not only did i purchase the display model for one of their remote starts (because they were out of the one i called about), but after leaving for 2 hours and then returning to this location...i was told they hadnt even started on my car yet. Mind you they had my telephone number and.didnt even bother to call in regards to this. This was my first AND MY LAST visit to Mickey Shorr. WASTE OF TIME!!!

horrible assistant manager!!

I went to this location for speakers and an amp for my boyfriends car, the asst manager "Bj " tried to get m number and was sexually harassing me the entire time I was there. I ended up leaving and not making a purchase! Horrible, horrible customer service!!

I bought a remote start from here. they sold me more than what I needed and when i went back for a problem I had with it they said it was my car that was the problem. They could of told me that before i spent 300.00 dollars. I will not buy anything else from this vendor.

If you buy a remote start and ...

If you buy a remote start and you change your alternator or battery, you have to pay to reprogram remote after you pay $250.00 for a system 2 years ago, go some place that charges you $99 and you will get better service.

DO NOT buy from Mickey Shorr Mobile Electronics. What they don't tell you is that if they install a device (Radio/Alarm/Car Remote Starter/GPS, etc.) and it does NOT work, even while you are still at their store, you will NOT get a refund, once you hand them your money it is gone forever. How or Why is this merchant even allowed to do business?

THERE PRODUCT IS TOP QUALITY IVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH ANYTHING IVE PURCHASED EVERYTHING COMES WITH THE OPTION OF A EXTENDED WARRANTY JUST IN CASE THERE IS A PROBLEM BUT IVE YET TO COME ACROSS ONE. ive shopped at mickeys for about 25 yrs now..ever since i got my first classic car it was a 69 chevy.. i had them deck it out everything from speakers to subwoofers to cd players all the above.. Any question i had they"ve always gave me the right answer. since ive been coming here ive had a few children and where do you think they go for there sounds? The same place i grew up going to. All in all a great place of buisness..CHECK THEM OUT!!!!

Mickey Shorr should win Michig...

Mickey Shorr should win Michigan's Worst Place to Work Award. Their installers are highly-skilled (they must be able to interface your after-market equipment with any vehicle's electrical system - no small feat on these new cars). They are compensated for this knowledge by reduced (or free) labor rates when the company has a "sale". Or Shorr's draw system that pays minimum wage if no jobs come in, but the employee must pay back that draw if they earn wages on their next job.

Essentially, Mickey Shorr makes loads of money on sales and has found a legal loophole in which their installers essentially work for free.

You ask - " If you don't like it - quit". They do quit. So consider that your next $2000 car stereo or alarm system will be installed by either a disgruntled worker having his/her hard-earned wages scalped, or a new hire who doesn't know his rear end from his wire strippers.

NEVER GO HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN. I went to this location in October 2009 to purchase a remote car starter and to have a DVD player installed in my mini van. The only way my remote car starter works is if I'm literally standing next to my van. I have brought it back twice so they could " readjust" the antenna. It still doesn't work and the salesman stated to me that he couldn't believe that they sold me this starter and that it is basically the worst starter they make. Would have been nice to hear that before I spent my hard earned money. Second, I purchased and had them install an Audiovox DVD player which cost $500.00 on that same day. Less than a year later it stopped working so I took it in. They charged me to see what was wrong with it. Then they told me that it wasn't covered and that I basically would have to buy a new one. I researched the DVD company and found out that it actually had a 3 year warrenty on it. When I took it back to Mickey Shorr so they could disconnect the player they then charged me again to uninstall the DVD player so I could ship it back to the company, something I feel Mickey Shorr should have been doing. When I went back to have it reinstall they wanted to charge me another $50.00 to hook it back up. I refused and they agreed they wouldn't charge me. As of today the DVD player is not working so I have to go through this mess again of trying to get it fixed. They only reason I returned to this location was because I thought they would honor their products they sold. They could have cared less. I tell everyone I know NEVER even step foot in this store.
