Dr. Torbus is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical biology from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Torbus completed his residency in internal medicine and served as chief resident at Overlook Medical Center. Dr. Torbus received the Palliative Care Award (Overlook Medical Center) for his compassionate and empathetic care of patients and their families. He also received the Community Health Center at Vauxhall Certificate of Recognition and earned the distinction of the Michael Bernstein, MD, MACP Recognition Award (teacher in internal medicine).
