My husband and I used Howland Travel to book our honeymoon. We came in thinking about traveling to Hawaii, but were very thankful when they suggested traveling to St. Lucia. We chose to stay at a Sandals Resort, and booked a great flight for cheap. Our agent was able to upgrade our room for free and offered us such a wonderful discount that we were able take advantage of a personal butler and several island excursions. While there we received a personal escort to the hotel, plated fruits and wine upon arrival in our room, and healthy snacks awaiting from the return of each of our adventures. Beautiful touches such as flower petals, and warm baths drawn for us made us feel extra special. We enjoyed massages on a pier in the middle of the ocean, and many wonderful restaurants to choose from. Our Honeymoon was more than what we ever pictured!

I was planning my destination wedding through Howland travels, and It was NOT stress free like i was hoping. I had 20 friends and family going with me and my husband to sandals in Jamaica, and it was a mess the whole time. Howland travel would give you a quote on a flight and tell you had in till the end of the day to get back to them for that price to book and when you did call them back well within the time the prices went up and you would hear " well i thought i explained that to you" from the travel agent. Because some of my family was not happy with Howland travels some of my friends decided to book them selves. they talked to Sandals and was added to our group. Howland travels called Sandals ,and took my friends off my group because they did not book tho them. I found this out when the Sandals wedding planner called me and told me this. Howland Travels kept my mother in laws credit card information even tho the transaction want tho , and had it just written down on a piece of paper that could have been stolen very easily. Howland Travels blamed Jamaicans for being slow and never getting back to her when i had questions about the wedding or needed information. I found it was best to call Sandals my self and never had the same problem. I was told by Howland travels that with having a large group like i did my husband and i would receive a room upgrade and other perks, then when we asked about our room upgrade we were told we didn't get one. When i was in Jamaica at the resort , they had a travel agent conference there the same week i was. I talked to a travel agent and she told me that with having a wedding and a large group i should have gotten spa packages and other benefits, but I did not . The travel agent told me that Howland travels probably kept them( this is what i was told but i'm not sure if that is how it work). there is more i could list about Howland travels and why i recommend using a different travel agent with out a doubt ,but i will leave it as it is. good luck and hopefully you have better time planning a vacation than i did .
