Founded in 1923, the Achievement Center is a nonprofit organization that provides medical, rehabilitative and mental health care services for children and their families. The center also offers early intervention and recreational therapy programs, as well as conducts sports activities for children with physical disabilities. The Achievement Center provides a summer treatment program for children with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders. Additionally, it offers medication management, mobile therapy, psychiatric evaluation, behavior consulting, and individual, group and family psychotherapy services. The center provides cognitive, social, language, physical and self-help skills development training. It offers health care services to more than 3,500 children and their families annually. The Achievement Center is headquartered in Erie, Pa, and maintains one of its offices in Warren, Pa.
