I had a terrible experience at the change jar beginning from the moment my three young children and I walked into the store. She does not want people with young children to shop there and money from mothers is not as good as money from others!!!!!!!!When we entered there were no smiles, no hello, and no welcome. We received dirty looks and disrespect. The owner called over two associates whispered something and then they proceeded to follow us around the whole store with dirty looks. I couldn't even shop because I felt so uncomfortable. I have never been treated in such a way, like I was some criminal or something. Then my 5 year old daughter walked from me to my mother-in-law, about 10' away and they owner said, "Don't be walking through here like that. You will knock things down and then we will have to pick up after you. I don't pay my girls enough to have to spend hours picking up after you." I was appalled! She did nothing wrong and if she would have knocked something down I would have made her pick it up. So I took my kids to the car with my mother-in-law and then came back in to discuss the situation with the owner. This is where things got even more disrespectful! I told her the way she handled her self was completely uncalled for. Before I could even get the words out of my mouth she lifted her hands and tried to cut me off. I let my frustration out a little (which I later apologized for) and told her to "zip it! You are going to hear me out." I tried to continue to tell her how disrespectful she was, but she cut me off and said she was going to call the cops for snapping my fingers at her! I told to go ahead if she felt she needed to. I then walked out. I came back an hour later when I had calmed down to apologize for raising my voice. When I walked in the door and immediately called the police. Which I guess I can understand because it is very threatening to snap your fingers at someone. When she got done making her report I said, "I came back to apologize, I should not have lost my temper." She went off like a ticking time bomb! She said, "You should never have walked back in my store the way you did and caused a scene. I did nothing wrong! I nicely told your daughter to not knock anything over! You had no right to come back in here and snap your fingers at me!" I said, "No, I should not have done that, but I don't understand why we were treated that way. I felt so discriminated against because you guys followed me around from the moment we walked in. I feel like this is not a kid-friendly store." She replied, "No this is not a kid friendly store. When people like you with kids come in here, the people the drop $150-$200 walk right out the door. So, yes you do cost me business. When an associate has to get onto your kids, its usually because your kids are terrible!" I was no disgusted, but I did not loose my cool again. I just said, "Well I guess money is not as good coming from mothers as it is coming from others, but if you discriminate against moms, who will shop here?" She is confident that she will still get the business that she cares about!

Cute stuff, just overpriced and the owner is a major jerk. If you can get there when one of her employees are working there, you will get a much better experience.
