Briarwood Academy offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through 12. Curriculum offered by the school includes English, Spanish, math, social studies, science, world history, computer, art, music, and physical education. It also offers a variety of sports programs to students, including basketball, softball, football, cross-country, track, cheerleading, twirling, tennis, and golf. The school offers various special programs, such as homecoming, key club, Christmas program, National Honor Society, smoky mountain boys, and Sally Foster. Briarwood Academy also has a literary society, music department, and a media center. The school is fully accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission, and is a member of the Georgia Independent School Association. It is located in Warrenton, Ga.
