We purchased a $20k vehicle from this dealer and drove 3.5 hours to pick it up. The vehicle had over 100k miles on it so the warranties and returns offered by the dealer were limited. There was a jolting in first gear that we were unsure about. The owner of the dealership, per my request, put in writing that we had 3 days to get the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. The verbal agreement was that we were able to return the vehicle if there was something wrong with it. The noise was passed off as 'normal' by the dealership and they also stated the vehicle passed their mechanical inspection. The day we brought it into the mechanic, 3 days later, the caliper stuck so bad b/c it was so old, the vehicle was not driveable. Makes you wonder what all they inspected on the truck. The air filter also looked as if it had never been changed. So, we are a little unhappy with this, however, the owner of the dealership has said he will help pay for what we are having to replace or repair. Redeemed. I think we would have preferred things in the vehicle to be correctly inspected prior to the purchase, however, the dealership has been willing to work with us on what we found to be wrong with it.
