Several years ago we used Jim to help Suka get more comfortable with strangers so it was a no-brainer to call him when we decided to work with our new puppy on barking issues. Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy and in just one visit I learned a few techniques that have made a remarkable difference in Dallas’s ability to encounter new situations with more confidence and much less barking. Amazing results for the money and time invested. I have and will continue to recommend Great Dog K9 Training to anyone who wants to improve their dogs’ lives.

I contacted Jim O'Neill to help me with my newly adopted dog's separation anxiety. He was very easy to get in touch with and scheduling was painless. Jim is patient, thorough, knowledgeable and very supportive. He does positive reinforcement training so Sadie actually enjoyed our lesson! After meeting with him, he sent a follow-up email to ensure we were all on the same page which I appreciated.

Hiring a dog trainer - especially for the first time - can be nerve-wracking, but I am confident I made the right decision asking Jim for help. Also, the packages and prices he offers are extremely reasonable for in-home dog training, especially considering his level of expertise. Jim is wonderful both with dogs and with their people! I have recommended him to older folks and families with children and they have all loved him--and so have their dogs. The dogs ranged from fit-in-your-purse size to newfies (150 pounds or so--my favorite). Jim is the Pied Piper of canines--and so kind!
