Charlie Stamp ruined my car! I have an 89 Vette and he put a transmission on it that wasn't made for a corvette. Needless to say we blew that transmission and had to get another one. He also burned the interior with a cigarette. Did I mention that he had our car for 2 years? When we asked him a question he told us that "he didn't have time to do it." I guess 2 yrs wasn't long enough for him! We brought the car in in the beginning of March 2015 and got it back the end of March 2017! He told us that the car would be ready for the summer. I thought he meant the summer of 2015 not 2017! He also was closing his shop and moved to Florida. He wouldn't give the car back until the day AFTER he left! Sounds a little shady to say the least! He ruined my car! I bought all the parts and was throwing thousands of dollars at him only to get the car back with a blown transmission! I think he should give our money back. Rhode Island is a better place without Stamp Automotive! If there were negatives in the reviews that's what I would have given him. Extremely Disappointed!
