Let me start by stating that I know nothing about coins. I inherited a one gallon sized Ziploc bag filled with lots of silver dollars, half dollars along with numerous old dimes, nickels and a few Susan B Anthony dollars. I did a little research online based on location and rating and saw a steady stream of positive reviews for “The Collector.” Having no idea of the value of these coins I needed a reasonable level of trust going into the sale of them. The reviews convinced me to call his office.
Dan took my call, was courteous and was willing to accommodate a next-day meeting during my lunch break. We met in his Warwick office on Post Road. He was on time and he got right to work on the assessment of the coins. I was very impressed by his knowledge and the ways inspected the coins and provided a value without hesitation. I quickly realized that Dan knew his craft well and I was very comfortable with the process. He is a gentleman and I believe he was honest and fair with the valuation.
I would not hesitate to go back or refer him to friends and family. Thank you Dan!
