Acton Academy of Washington, DC is a Montessori preschool and learner-driven elementary school. Acton Montessori is a beautiful, nurturing, and challenging Montessori program for children ages 3-6. Acton Elementary is a community where students in grades 1-6 are on a journey to discover a calling and change the world. We offer an all-day program in a comfortable home-like setting in a historic row house on K St in Foggy Bottom. Parents may drop their children off anytime between 8 and 8:45am and pick them up anytime between 3 and 6 pm. Acton's location in Foggy Bottom is convenient to families who commute to the K Street area from many neighborhoods in the DC area, including Georgetown, Dupont Circle, the Palisades, Glover Park, Cleveland Park, Woodley Park, Adams Morgan, Mt. Pleasant, Columbia Heights, as well as Arlington, Falls Church, and other neighborhoods in Virginia.
