Annie's Paramount Steak House has been serving up steaks and other American-style food for decades. There's nothing fancy about it. The food is basic fare -- tasty but nothing special. For special, go to Ruth's Chris Steak House or Morton's. Still, it's hard to find a good, basic steak and potatoes dinner in this neighborhood and Annie's fills that niche. They are open late and serve breakfast into the wee hours, so that's when you'll find me and a lot of other people dropping in. The gay community has been patronizing Annie's since it opened and the bar/restaurant has been loyal and supportive in return. There's a vibe here that is part "had a little too much to drink" and part "the party's not over yet". Try it.
