The Office of the Chief Technology Officer, also known as OCTO is a central information technology and telecommunications agency in the District of Columbia. It develops, implements and maintains the district s information technology and telecommunications infrastructure. The office also develops and implements citywide applications. It establishes and oversees information technology enterprise architecture and website standards for the district. The office advises district agencies on technology solutions to improve services for businesses, residents and visitors. The Office of the Chief Technology Officer additionally provides data management and geographic information system installation services.
