Compass Rose is a neighborhood tavern focused on international street food. Compass Rose is a place for neighbors to come together and feel at home. We want people to make friends, share their troubles and toast their victories with us. We believe all joys and sorrows are best shared over drinks and some delicious food. The idea for Compass Rose came about after owner, Rose Previte, traveled the world with her husband from 2009-2012. They visited over 30 countries together meeting amazing people and eating and drinking amazing things. When Rose returned to DC she wanted to share those discoveries with everyone through a local tavern dedicated to taking you on a tour of the world, but making you feel right at home.Compass Rose is a neighborhood tavern focused on international street food.
