We had a very nice meal at Darlington House. Have eaten there 4 times and am planning Father's Day brunch there with the family. What really impressed me is that one of the owners is usually there and will check to make sure you are taken care of. The staff is friendly and attentive-the food is tasty and well-prepared with a wonderful presentation.

My check was for $67. After I looked at it, I brought to the attention of the bar tender that the amount was incorrect and that he has given me someone elses tab. He realized that and said he was going to cancel the transaction on my card. He then brought the correct bill for $32 which my friend decided to pay in cash. I get my card back and on the way out I make sure to ask if Im all good to go. He told me everything was taken care of.



A few days later I find a charge of $115 on my card by the Darlington House.



That is a over Four times the bill. It is frustrating to know that an organization see that there is no signature on a receipt and not stop to think why it has not been signed. I have been on the phone with my bank all morning and these guys don't open till the evening.



Besides the forced overcharge the atmosphere is not bad.



My advice to you is to only use cash at this place.
