I live right up the street from the Exxon station on Georgia and Geranium Sts. N.W. and I buy gas there very frequently even though their prices are always higher than any other gas station. I usually only get enough to get me to another station. i was shocked Saturday when I went into the store to use the bathroom because I could not wait until I got home. I was appauled and wanted not to enter. It was stinky and very run down and dirty. It was not because it had not been cleaned, it has an obviously old sink and toilet that the seat was worn out etc.... I have been shopping at that store for over 20 years and I never had to use the bathroom. I would not take my dog in that bathroom. I will probably stop going there because I have gotten fast food from there many times, and had I known they were that dirty I wouldn't have. There is no excuse for those conditions. people spend a lot of money in there. You can buy a new toilet and seat for under 100.00. I notice that there are either no public bathrooms in DC gas stations or if there are they are in deplorable conditions. I go to gas stations in the suburbs where even more people frequent and do not see this. Could you please explain?
