Farida Izzi, MD is an Academic Hospitalist and Assistant Professor of Medicine, in the Division of Hospital Medicine within the Department of Medicine. She is the director of the fourth year Medicine Acting Internship clerkship at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She received her Medical degree in India in 2000. Thereafter she completed residency in NC in 2004 and a Hepatology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, MD in 2007. She is ABIM certified in Internal Medicine and is licensed to practice in Virginia and District of Columbia.
