Founded in 1960, IAM National Pension Fund is a pension plan that provides investors, including the employees of contributing employers, with financial benefits upon their respective retirements. The fund represents more than 1,700 contributing employers, 65,000 retirees and beneficiaries and 70,000 participating members whose contributions have given the fund more than $6 billion in net assets. Contributors are granted a guaranteed benefit after five years of vesting service and an unreduced retirement benefit after 30 years of service, as well as an unreduced pension benefit at age 62 and at least 20 years of service.
