Company Livingston Group, L.L.C ( TLG ) was created with the vision of instituting a new model for comprehensive government relations and advocacy services in in Washington DC, the United States, and the world. TLG's approach offers clients the bipartisan talents and expertise of its seven partners, seven former members of Congress, and an unmatched assemblage of senior former executive branch officials, military officers, congressional staff, and other senior level government, policy, legal and business professionals. The team is further enhanced by a network of strategic advisors and international affiliates whose skills, relationships and global reach compliments TLG's core competencies and allow us to provide a full range of services to meet our current and potential client's needs. Livingston Group was founded in 1999 by Representative Robert L. "Bob" Livingston ( R-LA ), together with his former Chief of Staff J. Allen Martin and Legislative Director Paul Cambon. The firm grew with the addition of Democratic partners, Representative Dennis Hertel ( D-MI ) and former Assistant Secretary of Commerce Lauri Fitz-Pegado, as well as with veteran congressional staff and government affairs professionals Bernie Robinson and Martin Cancienne. Former Senator Wayne Allard ( R-CO ) and former Members of Congress Bill Zeliff ( R-NH ), Eva Clayton ( D-NC ), Bob Clement ( D-TN ), and Tom Coleman ( R-MO ) serve as senior counselors and strategic advisors to the firm and client interests. Their leadership enhances our efforts on behalf of clients in Washington, DC and in their respective home states. Today, TLG has an extensive network of over 60 principals and consultants " including Democratic and Republican former senior congressional staff, executive branch officials, staff of governors, other state and local legislators and corporate executives. This network allows us to design and implement successful bipartisan government, public affairs and communications strategies for businesses, organizations and countries.
