Army and Navy Club Library, founded in 1891, is one of the oldest libraries in the District of Columbia. It offers its members various magazines, such as Armed Forces Journal, Newsweek, Time, Jane's Defense Weekly and Military History. It offers more than 42 periodicals and over 10 newspapers, including Baltimore Sun, Boston Globe, New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, USA Today, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal and Washington Times. The Library maintains a circulating book collection, from which it offers its members and guests to borrow for a period of 30 days. It also offers its resources for in-house research for professional, educational, scientific and historical matters. Army and Navy Club Library is owned and operated by Army and Navy Club and is located in Washington, D.C.
