The Warner Theatre is a Live Nation venue located at 513 13th Street, NW in the heart of downtown DC’s vibrant Pennsylvania Quarter Arts District. Built first for vaudeville & silent movies, the Theatre opened in 1924. Adapting to new entertainment trends in the 1950s, the auditorium was redesigned for Cinerama movies. In 1989 The Theatre closed for 3 years to undergo extensive renovations & enhancements. The "new" Warner Theatre opened in 1992 with a gala feat. Frank Sinatra (in his final D.C. appearance) & Shirley MacLaine.
