My elderly mother has been seeing Dr. Wilson for years, and it is because of her thorough examinations and prompt attention to eye problems that my mother still has vision at all. Last year, Dr. Wilson referred my mother to Dr. Wagner, also at Georgetown. Prompt surgery saved her remaining vision in one eye and allowed her to continue her active (for an old lady) lifestyle. I now see Dr. Wilson's to insure eye diseases are caught early. I would not think of just having an optomitrist check my eyes and "order" my eyeglasses after knowing all that can go wrong with my eyes.
