I use this branch to send international packages on a weekly basis, which can be tricky. I have always found the staff to be courteous and professional. Service has always been prompt and information accurate. I am very satisfied with my local post office.

What? I called to ask a question about padded envelopes and I got an answering machine saying"This person cannot be reached right now ,please leave a message after the tone". lol really? okay then..I left a message with my name and number, let's see what happens. This is a new experience for me for sure. anyone else have this happen? I have to add that I have always been very happy with my local post office but, have never had to call.

Please never go to this post office. On October 2nd I brought in my wedding invitations to be mailed out the next day. Prior to mailing out my invites I brought them into the post office to make sure that they were ok to mail out. They said yes and to make sure two stamps were on each invite. I made sure that there were two stamps on each invite and made sure that it was sealed shut. On October 3rd the post office sent back to my house what was inside my invites. It looked like something tore apart my invitation. I went into the post office and the manager said that "the invites went through the machine and that should of never happened." The manager also stated that the invites should have been hand shorted. Furthermore, the manager informed me that my invites were sent to the Pontiac post office. I asked if I would be refunded for the mistake and if I could find out who didn't receive the invites? The manager said that they have no idea who didn't receive the invites and no they can not refund me. I was sick to my stomach that I called the national post office and told them what had happen. They were rude and told me there was nothing they could do for me but put in a case number. Only some of my guest received their invites. The rest of my guests never got the invites, had the response cards missing in the envelope and some were damaged when they received them. Nobody cares at the post office and they speak to you like your stupid. Now my invites are late and I have to call all my quest on my wedding list. The Washington post office finally called me back on Oct 4th and said that I never sealed my invites. After the manager said to me that my invites should have never went through the machine. Furthermore, I did glue each invite shut. I don't understand how people could blame you for their mistakes.
