I agree, the secretary at the window has been less than professional with me for a number of years. I am greatly disappointed in what occurred recently. I arrived early and she told me I had an outstanding balance, and the np would not see me unless I paid one third. I did not know about a balance due but I understand that this is their policy. She then said in a normal tone of voice the amount of my balance. I couldnt give her the amount in question.There were 3 other people in the waiting room, which is about 10ft by 8 ft.They easily heard amounts of money discussed and other details. I was mortified. I went to a seat with my head low in shame but the mood turned tense and everyone glance at me and looked down. This secretary is not new; I have dealt with her for a number of years, so I know she understands how to maintain privacy. A better way of handling it would be to show me the paper with the number circled. Also, I had just spoken to her the day before on the phone so why wasn't this discussed then? I was near tears when the np arrived and was in no mood for a visit so I left. I'm hurt, angry, embarrassed, and I feel like my privacy was violated.

Cathy Neubauer was by far the worst doctor I have ever seen. I went to her for quite a few years. The receptionists are rude and treat you like you owe them. They have no manners and are not kind or friendly. I found out I was pregnant and Neubouer suggested that I get an abortion if I was not happy. The only reason I was unhappy when I saw her was because I called them ahead of time to see it was ok if I was a little late and they said it was okay but when I arrived she would not see me and they charged me a no-show fee. The time after that they would not see me because I only had a $100.00 bill to pay my balance and they could not break my $100 bill and if I left to get change, they would charge me a No show fee. I was very kind when explaining this to her and why I was frustrated with the office, after that she told me if I'm so unhappy then maybe I should get medicine for it. Horrible office staff and doctor at the Washington Mo location.

Please do NOT waste your time with the Washington MO location. It was a NIGHTMARE!! 1st my son was scheduled for an appt only to evaluate his ADHD the first appt he was taken to we were told his step dad could not sign the med forms no problem we rescheduled I (his mother) called their office got the papers faxed them back to the office prior to next appt. I then called to verify that the papers were there and was told yes we have everything so his step dad can now bring him in. During this I decided to have my oldest daughter (17) evaluated for depression issues she was having. First appt went off without a hitch it was all downhill from there. She was scheduled to see TWO people at the next visit one for medication and the other for a counseling session (so two copays) I received a call that they needed to reschedule so we rescheduled. Her two appts were scheduled for a Tuesday. On Monday I received a call saying we need to reschedule her appts that were scheduled for Tues I asked to when and was told well were scheduling back to the time they were originally schedule (are you confused yet because I was) I asked what they meant and was told well we cancelled your appts tomorrow since the Dr had something come up but their plans were cancelled so can we reschedule to that same time. I said well being as though I was never told they were cancelled AGAIN Im gunna go with yes they can be rescheduled. So while I was on the phone I verified my son and my daughters appt times. Now for Tues. my husband gets there according to the time I was told (and 5 min early) and was told he was 30 min late AND that they didn't have his paperwork! THEN IT GETS BETTER BELIEVE IT OR NOT, someone standing on the other side of the counter rudely says and we won't reschedule this is twice now that the appt has been cancelled ARE YOU KIDDING ME YOUR office refused to see my son because his step dad brought him then YOUR office verified with me that they had the paperwork THEN YOUR office verified the appt time and somehow MY inconvenience is bad for YOU. REALLY ARE YOU KIDDING ME! No wonder most of the dr's are rated below national average. Trust me find another dr unless you have nothing better to do than deal with reschedule after reschedule rude attitudes and poor pt care
