They took such good care of our dog. From the minute she got sick, up until the day we had to say goodbye to her. Highly recommend them.

My experience has been the opposite of "AnimalLover". With three dogs, three cats, two horses, three fish and a frog, vet visits are a constant part of life around our house. After moving to the area seven years ago we tried several of the local clinics before settling on Pleasant Valley as our small animal vet about three years ago. Their service has always been exemplary, and we've never felt we were being pressured or "guilted" into unnecessary (and expensive) options, as is often seems to be the case at other places.

I had been going here for years. Now we find that on the rare occasion when we call with a question (like a simple question about changing a prescription), the people at the desk say they will have the Dr. call us back. That call never comes. When we we call the next day they say they did not know they were supposed to call us back. This happened a few times in the last year.



Also, they called us with reminders on shots being due, when our pet just had those shots and is not due again for years. Obviously they do not keep good records.



If you ask for copies to show your dog has had vaccines or whatever, they give excuses about how long it will take them because they are too busy. They might say "In a week" but the papers will never come.



Do yourself a favor, there are other Vets in the area use one of them who is more in touch with her patients and what goes on in her office.
