I have been dealing with this gunsmith for several years. Although he does not have a retail display of guns for sale, he will custom make many different types of guns to meet my needs. Fred Carper has built me several very accurate rifles and repaired /accurized several other firearms for me. I found him to be reasonably priced, provides excellent workmanship and completes the projects in a very good timeframe.

I wanted to let you know that I have now shot the Rem 300 Ultra Mag you built for me over 30 times at the range. After adjusting my Zwarovski 3.5 to 18 power scope. I am shooting dead center bullseye.at 200, 300 and 400 yards with factory 180 grain loads from Barns.

pictures from my Elk hunt next week. Hopefully I will hit a big bull at 400 yards with my new go to Rem 300 Ultra mag..
