Dr. Ethan Kobe is a full-time family medicine physician at WHS Family Medicine – North Main in Washington, PA. Prior to joining WHS, Dr. Kobe practiced medicine in California and has experience in family medicine, inpatient care as well as outpatient skilled nursing. Dr. Kobe earned his medical degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. He initially started his residency in General Surgery but found his true passion lies with caring for the whole person as a Family Physician. He went on to complete his Family Medicine residency at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, California and in 2020 he was named Family Medicine Resident of the Year. Dr. Kobe is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and anticipates completing board certification by the American Board of Family Medicine very soon. He is a member of several medical and academic societies. When he isn’t practicing medicine, Dr. Kobe spends much of his time at his other “job”, being a dad to his young daughter. He also enjoys being outdoors, cooking and building models.
