I ordered an arrangement from this shop on behalf of my colleagues for delivery to an important co-worker. After four days, the co-worker had still not received anything from us. This was hugely embarrassing for many people. Nobody from the Ivy Green had contacted us about this. I called the shop and the florist said that their policy on deliveries was to call the recipient and, if necessary, leave a message, and then repeat this over the course of days.



When I asked whether it occurred to them to contact me to facilitate the delivery, especially after a period of days, the florist defended her policy and became insulted that this policy was questioned notwithstanding the absurd and unsatisfactory result. This experience ruined the gift both as to myself and the recipient.



I would not recommend using a florist who does not understand customer service or one of the most significant aspects of floral gift-giving: timing. On the fourth day after something should be delivered, you would think that the shop would contact the buyer, rather than defend a policy that eroded the spirit behind the gift.
