I am a little hearing challenged. At the register, the clerk was offering me something, and I had trouble understanding what she was saying. People who have hearing issues find themselves reading lips, but I just couldn't get what she was saying. She has a slight, but not unattractive speech impediment and while acknowledging that fact, she offered to write down what she was saying. She took the time to write down what she was saying!!! What a sweet thing to do! Neither one of us was embarrassed because she was very generous and kind.
