I was moving to Alaska when I was told I had a house for rent. We arrived and did not. The other management company literally rented it out from under us! We had went to Shar at Alaska Diversified Properties and she got us into a beautiful custom home. She was professional and very knowledgable of the rental area. I would recommend Alaska Diversified Properties and Shar the Broker to all who are looking for a rental. They really saved my family!

Shar is a great manager. I read these ridiculous reviews of tenants who did not get their funds back. I have rented from Alaska Diversified Properties for over 6 years. I have also lived in three different places of theirs. Shar was a great manager by fixing everything we needed, she always returned our phone calls, is always very nice and has never taken any money from our deposit when we moved from places. She does expect things to be done per her lease and you are charged if you do not do the things in the lease that you sign. It is funny all the complaints are due to security deposits. That tells me the other tenants did not read their lease and do as they were supposed to. People should really learn to tell the truth, Shar is the best manager in the Valley. I have had others that were a nightmare. Kudos Shar!!!

She will do whatever she can to take your entire deposit for no reason. She is awful at helping with repairs, for instance they broke the sink when they came to replace the faucet, they wouldnt come back for 2 weeks to fix it. I lived at one of her places for four months and she accused me of completely ruining the bath tub and walls in the bathroom even though when we moved in she told is it was gross so they were planning on replacing it...When we moved in the house was filthy, I had to srcrub the entire house. When we moved it out looked 100x better since we spent two days cleaning and she said the place was discusting...All Shar cares about is money, shes dishonest, unprofessional, and just plain rude. I would avoid renting from her unless you have a lawyer and know exactly how to avoid letting your land lord rip you off to the greatest extent possible.

We would recommend Shar Larson of Alaska Diversified Properties to everyone looking for a rental! She repairs anything we call about and she is a great manager. If you are looking for a rental, call her! You won't be sorry!!!

Watch out for this company. They will do the bare minimum to keep the house 'rentable', even if it's unsafe for the tenants (carpenter ants everywhere, gas leaks, water heater with no depressurization tank, the list goes on...) Please save yourself the headache. Not only will they let you live in a poorly kept house, they will be incredibly rude and unprofessional while doing so.

I DO NOT recommend Alaska Diversified to anyone. Shar is very rude and does not deal with her tenants professionally. After receiving our rent and pet deposit back, I had a couple questions, so I went to ask her about them. First off she said we were missing 5$ from last october, then she charged us 52$ for stove drip pans and installation (which don't take any time or effort to install). We spent 30 minutes cleaning them and they looked almost new. When we moved in they were very dirty. I asked Shar to give me a receipt for the drip pans and she told me what she wrote was the receipt and she didn't "legally" have to give me a receipt. I replied, she could have written any amount on that piece of paper and drip pans only cost about 12$. She said she could have also and doesn't have time to argue with me and I can take her to court, then walked away when I wasn't finished talking. SHE IS VERY RUDE. I have always been nice throughout our tenancy and she has always treated us like children. This is the reason we decided to move out, I don't think she should be in a business where she has to communicate.

I had a horrible experience with this company, the broker was extremely rude, charged me for a large fee that was nowhere on my contract, and further she refused to explain the fee to me and why she was charging me. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Horrible. She is dishonest, extremely rude, and charged me for things outside of my contract.
