I've read some reviews and I wanted to share mine as a way to spread holiday cheer. Recently, I had a short period of therapy with Shanice, and it was my first time seeking therapy. The last time I saw her was in 2020 and she was at an event for one of my jobs. Little did I know she was a therapist until I visited her job. She saw me as a person, not just an addict, and from the second session I thought to myself, there is a reason we crossed paths. She worked tirelessly to get me into a residential program, it is hard to get beds. During our last session, she looked me in the eye and said, "I want to help you. Tell me what you really need." I'm glad I was brave enough to be honest. There was something about her that really made me feel heard. Shanice, I hope you see this and I hope you remember me.
