Motor city Guitar is hands down the best music store in Metro Detroit for guitar, bass, amplifiers, boutique effects pedals and all things guitar.

My parents and I only went there once, to get an amp for my birthday last August. When we first walked in, it looked pretty small, but the man there was really nice. From the questions he asked about my guitar, I could tell he knew what he was doing. As we followed him deeper into the store, it became clear that you could get lost in this place. The man was warm and inviting and there was a very wide selection of guitars and amplifiers. He even suggested the perfect amp for a beginner like me. It has basic, easy to understand knobbing, but he still tells you to read the instruction booklet. He even finds the right hook up cord for your specific guitar from a thick bundle of cords. From what I saw, he works the counter and walk-in coustumers on his own with ease. If I ever need anything else for my music, I'll be sure to go to Motor City Guitar every time.
