This morning a friend of mine ran in to this location for just a couple of thing as her daughter and I waited in the car. Somehow when she checked out the store employee and she had missed 1 can good when she grabbed her bag of PAID FOR items and her purse from the cart before exiting the building she was approached by the same employee and accused of theft and was detained by staff as well the PSP where also called.

Now this is gotten so out of hand that they have said that she will not be able to shop at and Tops nor is she permitted in their parking lots. I have advised her to sue Tops markets and the employees for accusing her falsely and defamation which she has contacted the law firm she deals with.

I feel sorry for what she and her daughter had been made to feel. But I really feel sorry for Tops and these employees y'all really messed with the wrong person this time. And as for me I would rather starve to death then ever set foot in another Tops market.
