East High School has been operational for more than 120 years and provides various academic programs for students in grades nine through 12. Its academic curriculum includes a range of subjects, such as arts, business education, English, family and consumer science, mathematics, music, science, social studies and world languages. The school offers various extracurricular activities and student clubs, including dance, speech and debate clubs, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the National Honor Society, theater, a student senate, newspaper and yearbook. It also provides opportunities for students to participate in a range of athletic activities, such as softball, baseball, cross country, golf and football. The school s campus includes a cafeteria, gymnasium, locker rooms, classrooms, office complex and library. It is a part of Waterloo Community Schools, which enrolls more than 10,000 students and operates several high, middle and elementary schools. East High School is located in Waterloo, Iowa.
